Your RFP Problem Solved &
Built to Scale
Write Way Consulting wins public procurement contracts for companies selling into K-12, positions their products for state adoption, trains teams to run the process, and supports the contract after the award.
The problem
Most companies selling to schools know the solicitations exist, work hard on responses and still lose the RFP.
They get the alerts, see the deadlines, and watch the contracts go to someone else, because responding takes a set of documents they do not have, a process nobody on the team has run, and two weeks nobody can spare. The ones that do respond usually lose on a missing form before an evaluator reads a word.
Write Way exists because that gap is where most K-12 revenue is lost, and it is fixable. The firm reads the solicitation the way an evaluator scores it, positions the product for the standards a state will enforce, and builds a response operation the company owns outright. Clients average 40 contract awards per engagement, and the firm stays on the contract after the award.
Three Ways We Work
Every engagement does at least one of three things, and most do all three. The firm solves the response in front of you, teaches your team to run the process, and builds the operation that grows with the company, including the product positioning that gets a curriculum adopted at the state level.
We Solve It
We find the solicitation and write the response: built to the scoring rubric, compliance-checked, and submitted in the district’s required format. Our clients average 40 awards per engagement.
We Teach It
Your team learns the response methodology and how to build compelling, compliant proposals. Teams can reuse every piece of content we write in a library you own. By the fourth response, your team is assembling rather than starting over, and it knows which solicitations to leave alone.
We Build It to Scale
For companies focused on growth, we build the department: bid notifications on your keywords, a response library you own, cooperative contracts that let hundreds of districts buy without a bid, product positioning for state adoptions, and a standing strategy call. Designed so you do not need us when it ends.
Our Services
This service is intended to support the review of completed responses prior to submission. Our RFP Review includes a strategy, compliance and customization review with a report companies and use for the improvement of future responses.
With Write Way Consulting’s End-to-End RFP Response service, you will receive support for one RFP from start to finish. All content produced under this service will support your organization's RFP response and can be reused for future responses. Please be advised that we do not accept RFP response requests for RFPs due less than 14 business days from the date of purchase.
Whether you seek advice on a new state strategy, the RFP process, or how to improve your existing RFP methodology, our team is ready to provide meaningful consulting calls to support your organization’s unique needs!
Why Write Way Consulting Stands Out
The track record is public procurement only, and it is specific. A 60 percent RFP win rate, and an average of 40 RFP awards per client engagement. A cooperative award turned into a $1.6 million district deal within a month. The youngest phonics company ever adopted in Texas, in English and Spanish, taken through the state’s first IMRA cycle. A client grown from single-digit millions to more than $50 million in revenue in under three years on procurement strategy. Founded 2018, K-12 public procurement only.
Behind those numbers is a firm that does whatever the client’s success requires once retained: add-on products built to meet a state’s standards, approvals from some of the highest-enrollment districts in the country, state-level partnerships, customization packages for large district rollouts, women-owned business certifications carried from application to award, and implementation support that keeps the contract renewing. We are not an RFP writing shop, and we do not close a client out because a problem falls outside a service line.
The Founder
Julianne DeMartino founded Write Way Consulting in 2018 with a background in legal studies and in organizational and behavioral change, which she studied at New York University. The combination explains the firm’s method. A public solicitation is a contract offer governed by statute, and a response that misses one of its requirements is set aside before anyone reads it; at the same time, the solicitation is the last public signal of a decision that state boards, legislatures and funding agencies announced months earlier. DeMartino reads both.
Between 2022 and 2024 she ran public procurement, product compliance and market strategy for a young phonics publisher, positioning the product end to end for multiple state adoptions. It became the youngest company of its kind ever adopted by the State of Texas, in English and Spanish, and grew from single-digit millions in revenue to more than $50 million in under three years. Her clients since then have averaged 40 contract awards per engagement.
